    Angie Garza is the Director of Advanced Technology and Infrastructure Sourcing at Google, where she is responsible for the Sourcing & Procurement of Data Center Infrastructure and Advanced Technology which includes Power Generation, Power Distribution, Mechanical Cooling and Modular Equipment for Data Center Construction. Before that she was the Sr. Director of Engineering at X Corp (f.k.a.Twitter), where she was responsible for running the organizations that design, launch, maintain and operate Data Center infrastructure and hardware to support the X platform and where she was responsible for delivering X Corp's first AI deployment. She also worked for almost 10 years at Amazon Web Services, where she first managed the global supply chain for servers and then became the Head of Global Data center Infrastructure Procurement and Supply Chain as well as Lenovo, Celestica and other leaders in the tech space before that.

    Born and raised in Mexico and passionate about coaching and growing talent in the Technology Industry, Angie has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain and procurement and throughout her career she has helped organizations and customers save billions of dollars in terms of supply chain optimizations, cost efficiencies and value engineering efforts mainly in this space.

    In 2023 she was the recipient of the Infrastructure Masons IM100 Award for her notable contributions in the Data Center Industry.

    In 2024, Angie was awarded the 'Technology All-Star Achievement' Award for her contributions in the technology space. She was also awarded the HITEC100 Award which highlights the 100 most influential Global Hispanic executives in technology.

    The best word to describe Angie is: GRIT.

    In Microsoft since 2001, more than sixteen years dedicated to the FSI market, initially as an Architect in ISD and later as an Account Technology Strategist in Enterprise Commercial.

    By working with systemic banks (G-SIFI), I developed vertical skills for a hyper-regulated market especially in compliance, security and privacy in addition to a strong and broad competence on technology matters (modern workplace, cloud infrastructure and applications, intelligent data, business applications, etc.).

    In November 2022 I moved into the Cloud Region Lead role responsible for Italy North region business development and launch, happened in July 2023; I'm now member of Western Europe Cloud Region Leadership Team focusing on both Italy and Belgium cloud regions.

    Pablo Casado, Ingeniero de la Edificación y Diplomado en Arquitectura Técnica cuenta con amplia experiencia (26 años) en la construcción de distintas tipologías de edificios, aunque desde hace 14 años se ha especializado en el diseño, construcción y operación de los Data Centers.

    En la actualidad, como Head of Global Data Center & Central Core en Telefonica, está definiendo e implementando la estrategia Global de la compañía en este tipo de edificaciones, consistente en la consolidación de espacios y su uso compartido por las diferentes áreas de la compañía (Sistemas, Empresas y Red) en centro de datos más fiables y eficientes. A su vez está definiendo el modelo de gobierno de estos centros con el fin de garantizar y optimizar su operación y “compliance”.

    Anteriormente, como Gerente de la UTE ha desarrollado las funciones de dirección y control de la empresa (UTE CPD Alcalá) cuyo principal objeto ha sido desarrollar el Diseño, Construcción y Puesta en marcha del Data Center Telefónica de Alcalá de Henares.

    Además durante su trayectoria profesional ha ejercido en los distintos puestos de línea relacionados con el sector de la construcción, (Gerente de Obras, Jefe de Obra y Jefe de Producción).

    Como Gerente de obras, la principal función ha sido la de supervisar a los diferentes equipos de obras, motivando a los mismos para conseguir la máxima productividad, garantizando la calidad y el trato con el cliente, al mismo tiempo que desarrollaba labores comerciales tanto con los clientes existentes, así como en la búsqueda de nuevos clientes, con el ánimo de contratar nuevos proyectos.

    Como jefe de obra ha sido responsable de la gestión general de la obra, tanto en sus aspectos técnicos como económicos y administrativos, poseyendo plena competencia para la toma de decisiones.

    Toda esta trayectoria profesional, así como la titulación académica le ha permitido estar en condición de aportar en el sector especializado de los Data Center, la racionalidad suficiente que permita diseñar, construir y operar los CPDs del futuro.
